I’m Floyd Taylor. 🛠 Technologist. 🗳 Civic builder. 📢 Relentless believer that if you see something broken, you fix it. I’ve officially filed to run for the U.S. House of Representatives in Indiana’s 9th District — not as a Republican, not as a Democrat, but as an Independent. No party. No PACs. No handlers. Just 📖 open books, 💻 open code, and a campaign built to serve you.
Here’s the difference: my personal opinions have no place in politics. I’m not running to represent myself. I’m not running to represent city councils or business owners. I’m running to represent the people — all the people — We the People. Every voice matters, whether you’ve voted in every election or never voted at all.
While my opponents are still playing yesterday’s game 📜 — built for a world that doesn’t exist anymore — I’m building tomorrow’s system 🏗. One where your voice is the only voice that guides my vote. That’s why I’m creating the Congress App:
If I win, the app launches. If I don’t, it doesn’t. I’m betting everything on service — and I’m not playing around. I’m not here to “pull” from one side or the other — I’m here to win all of it: ❤️ red votes, 💙 blue votes, 🤝 independent votes, 🗯 disillusioned votes. Because the system isn’t broken for just one side — it’s broken for all of us.
Some will say it can’t be done. ⚠️ That’s fear talking. Fear of change is the oldest trick in the book. I’m not afraid to disrupt the system — I’m afraid of what happens if we don’t. This campaign is a prototype for something better, and if we succeed here, it will force a new standard across the country.
Imagine voters everywhere asking:
Here’s the reality — to even get on the ballot, I need ✍️ 14,000 verified signatures between January and June 2026. That doesn’t happen without you. Tell two friends. Then ask them to do the same. Show up. Sign. Share.
And if you think you can do better — stop complaining and do it. That’s exactly what I’m doing. I saw a broken system, I knew I could build something better, and I stepped up.
This is more than a campaign. It’s a movement. It’s a battle cry. It’s the start of a new way forward — one where the people lead, and the politicians follow. And if we win, we won’t just make history. We’ll make it impossible to go back.
